Pastore celebrated at half-time

The Parc des Princes paid a passionate tribute to former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore at half-time of Sunday's match against Caen.

5 championnats de France (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018), 4 Coupes de France (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), 5 Coupes de la Ligue (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), 4 Trophées des Champions (2013, 2014, 2016, 2017), 269 matches, 45 goals, 56 assists… that's worth celebrating! Transferred to AS Roma this summer, Javier Pastore left Paris Saint-Germain after seven seasons of loyal service.

On Sunday, the Argentina international came to bid farewell to his adoring public one last time, appearing alongside his wife and children at half-time and receiving a fantastic ovation from the Parc, as well as a commemorative trophy and one last No.27 shirt from PSG chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaïfi.

"I had a lot of things I wanted to say to you all, but I'm too nervous," Flaco told the fans. "Thank you so much for these last seven years. I built my family here, and you will forever be in my heart. You are also my family."
