Paris will travel to Lorient for the Round of 32 of the Coupe de France

Paris Saint-Germain will face Lorient in the Round of 32 of the Coupe de France on Saturday 18 or Sunday 19 January at the Stade Yves Allainmat-Le Moustoir.

Twelve-time winner of the competition (in 1982, 1983, 1993, 1995, 1998, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018), the club from the capital, who knocked out Linas-Montlhéry (6-0) in the previous round, will take on the current second-placed side in Ligue 2 and winners of the competition back in 2002, who secured their own qualification with victories over Guingamp (3-0), Pontivy (1-0) and Brest (2-1).

The two clubs have already faced each other on three occasions in the competition, with two 1-0 wins for Paris in Brittany (in the Round of 32 in 1997-1998 and in the semi-finals in 2015-2016) and one victory for Lorient by the same score at the Parc des Princes (in the quarter finals in 2001-2002). Les Rouge et Bleu will head to Le Moustoir in good form, on the back of a seven-match winning run in all competitions.
