Paris to play Rennes in the Coupe de France final

Paris Saint-Germain will play Rennes in the final of the Coupe de France on Saturday 27 April at the Stade de France.

Four-time defending champions and winner of the Coupe de France for a record 12 times, (1982, 1983, 1993, 1995, 1998, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018), qualified after eliminating Pontivy (4-0), Strasbourg (2-0), Villefranche (3-0 a.e.t), Dijon (3-0) and Nantes (3-0), will meet Rennes, 9th in Ligue 1, who defeated Brest (2-2, 5-4 on pens.), Saint-Pryvé-Saint-Hilaire (2-0), Lille (2-1), Orléans (2-0) and Lyon (3-2).

Paris and Rennes have already met four times in the Coupe de France with the capital club winning all four times (2-0 in the Rd-64 1980-81 in Caen, 3-1 in Rd-64 1994-95 at the Parc des Princes, 4-0 in Rd-32 2016-17 at Roazhon Park, and 6-1 in Rd-64 in 2017-18, in Rennes).

The two sides have already met twice this season in Ligue 1, with Les Rouge et Bleu winning 3-1 on Sunday 23 September at Roazhon Park in Week 6 and then 4-1 on Sunday 27 January at the Parc des Princes in Week 22.
