Paris to meet Lyon in final!
Lyon will be Paris Saint-Germain's opponents in the Coupe de la Ligue final on 4 April.
Already the record winners of the competition with eight (1995, 1998, 2008, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), the capital club will appear in a record tenth final.
The Parisians, who have knocked out Le Mans (4-1), Saint-Étienne (6-1) and Reims (3-0), will be the 'home' side at the Stade de France against OL, who have won the trophy once (2001) in four previous final appearances. The side that is currently seventh in L1 has knocked out Toulouse (4-1), Brest (3-1) and Lille (2-2, 4-3 on pens.).
The pair have met already this season with the Rouge-et-Bleu winning their Week 6 Ligue 1 meeting at the Groupama Stadium 1-0 thanks to a late Neymar Jr (88') goal. They'll also face each other in L1 before the final on 9 February at the Parc des Princes.
The pair met in the 2013-14 final with Paris Saint-Germain winning 2-1. They've faced each other six more times in the competition with Paris coming out on top on four occasions (2-1 in 1994-1995 and in 2015-2016, 1-0 in 1997-1998 in Paris, 2-1 a.e.t. in 2010-2011 in Lyon) and losing twice (1-2 in 1996-1997 and in 2006-2007 in Lyon).
