Paris to host Nîmes in 2019-20 season opener

The French Football League has released the fixtures for the 2019-20 season. Paris Saint-Germain begin the campaign against Nîmes Olympique at the Parc des Princes.

Nîme's visit the capital in Week 1 of the season on the weekend of 10/11 August. Les Rouge et Bleu then travel to Rennes in Week 2, before entertaining Toulouse in Week 3 and finishing the opening month of the new term away to promoted Metz.

Thomas Tuchel's side will travel to Lyon on 21 or 22 September in Week 6.

The first Classique of the season will be played in... Paris! The French champions will host Olympique de Marseille in Week 11, on 26 or 27 October 2019. The calendar year ends with the visit of Amiens ahead of the winter break.

2020 begins with a home match against Monaco, and Paris will host Lyon on 8 or 9 February in Week 24 of the season before a trip to Marseille for the second Classique on 21 or 22 March, in Week 30. 

Paris Saint-Germain will end the 2019-20 Ligue 1 season away to Nîmes, at the Stade des Costières on 23 or 24 May.
