Paris Saint-Germain will face Manchester City FC, RB Leipzig and Club Bruges in the UEFA Champions League group stage.

In Group A, the club from the capital will face the Citizens, who they’ve faced the most times without winning (1 draw and 3 defeats) in the competition (level with AC Milan), and also the club that knocked them out in the semi finals last season (1-2, 0-2).

The Rouge et Bleu will also face Leipzig for the third season in a row in the UEFA Champions League, after beating them in the semi finals in the 2019-2020 season (3-0), and also having a win and a defeat in last season’s group stage (1-2, 1-0). Only Chelsea (2013-2014, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016) have played the Parisians in three straight seasons in a row in their European history.

Paris Saint-Germain will also face Bruges, a club they’ve faced twice in European competitions, having recorded two victories in the UEFA Champions League 2019-2020 group stage (5-0, 1-0).
