Paris to play Saint-Étienne in Cup final!

Paris Saint-Germain will take on AS Saint-Étienne in the Coupe de France final at the Stade de France on 25 April.

Winners of the competition on 12 occasions (in 1982, 1983, 1993, 1995, 1998, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 - national record), the capital club eliminated Linas-Montlhéry (6-0), Lorient (1-0), Pau (2-0), Dijon (6-1) and Lyon (5-1). The current 16th-placed team in Ligue 1, Les Verts qualified by defeating Bastia-Borgo (3-0), Paris FC (3-2), Monaco (1-0), Épinal (2-1) and Rennes (2-1), and have lifted the trophy six times (in 1962, 1968, 1970, 1974, 1975 and 1977).

Parisiesn and Stéphanois have already crossed paths twice this season. The first was on Sunday 15 December on Matchday 18 of Ligue 1, when Les Rouge et Bleu won 4-0 at the Stade Geoffroy Guichard thanks to goals from Neymar Jr (9'), Mbappé (43', 89') and Icardi (72'). They met a second time on Wednesday, January 8, in the Coupe de la Ligue quarter-finals, with Thomas Tuchel's men winning 6-1 at the Parc des Princes thanks to goals from Icardi (2', 49', 57'), Neymar Jr (39'), Moulin og (44') and Mbappé (67'). Yohann Cabaye scored for Les Verts (71'). The two teams will also cross paths a week before the final, on Matchday 33of Ligue 1 at the Parc des Princes.

The two clubs have already crossed paths in the competition's history with three wins for the capital club: in the final of the 1982 edition at the Parc des Princes (2-2 a.e.t., 6-5 on pens), for the first major title in the history of Paris Saint-Germain and the last final appearance for Les Verts, and again in the semi-finals in 2014-2015 also in Paris (4-1), and in the quarter-finals the following season in the Forez (3-1).
