Paris reach milestone of 500 wins since 2011

500 wins! Since the start of the 2011-2012 season and the arrival of QSI, Paris Saint-Germain's new majority shareholder at the time, the Rouge et Bleu have won 500 official matches in just 14 seasons.

On 21st August 2011, after two matches against Lorient (0-1, 06/08/2011) and Rennes (1-1, 13/08/2011), Paris opened its account against Valenciennes (2-1) at the Parc des Princes in the league, a debut for a certain Javier Pastore.

500 wins in 709 matches, an exceptional 70% success rate for the Parisians, with a favourite opponent: Marseille, defeated 24 times, ahead of Lyon and Nantes (23 defeats since 2011), Lille and Saint-Etienne (22 defeats).

Even though Lille managed to score a goal past Gianluigi Donnarumma yesterday, Paris has now reached this symbolic win milestone. See you in 2028 for the 1,000th!

Paris waited 25 years, until the start of the 1994-1995 season, to reach the milestone of 500 wins since the club was founded in 1970...
