Paris make the perfect start

The key moments
After nearly two months, Thomas Tuchel's men were back on the pitch for a friendly with Dynamo Dresden, and a first opportunity to see the new signings at work, including Pablo Sarabia and Ander Herrera.

In front of over 30,000 fans, the Parisians started well - following a mix-up in the home defence, Kylian Mbappé chipped Kevin Broll for the opening goal (0-1, 6'). The Paris number 7 then provided the pass for Julian Draxler to claim the second  (0-2, 18'). before he added his second and his team's third thanks to a Marco Verratti assist (0-3, 34').

After the break, a trio of youth academy products took their chance to shine. Arthur Zagre, who had replaced Draxler, was sent clear by Ander Herrera to score his first senior goal for the club (0-4, 48'). Virgiliu Postolachi then added number five from another Mbappé assist (0-5, 61'). Adil Aouchiche also found the net with Zagre this time the provider (0-6, 71'). The German hosts pulled one back through a Moussa Koné penalty (1-6, 76').

A Parisian in the match: Kylian Mbappé
The Paris forward did not take long to get going, pouncing on a mistake to open the scoring. He struck the woodwork, teed up Draxler for a goal and then added another himself.

In the second half, he provided another assist, this time for Postolachi. It's a start that augurs well for the 2019/20 campaign.
