Inter Milan are the only team in the top 10 of UEFA's latest European club rankings never to have faced Paris Saint-Germain in official matches.

On 22 April 1980, Parisian and Inter players met for the first time in a friendly match at the Parc des Princes, with Inter winning 2-1 against a team made up of players from Paris Saint-Germain and Paris Football-Club, in front of just 8,000 spectators.
