An attacking midfielder who can play on either flank blessed with a delicious left foot - Pascal Sarabia will delight the capital club's fans over the next five years.
Madrid born and Real bred, Pablo Sarabia Garcia joined the Spanish giants' reserve side, La Castilla, at 18. He made 47 Segunda Division B appearances - Spain's third tier - scoring 15 goals and playing for Spain at youth level over a fruitful season-and-a-half. To cap it all, he made a first-team appearance in December 2010 when he replaced Cristiano Ronaldo no less in a 4-0 UEFA Champions League group stage win over Auxerre.

At the end of the season, which he capped by helping Spain win the UEFA U19 EURO, Sarabia decided to move to the Madrid suburbs and join Getafe. In and out of the first team in his first two seasons, he established himself as a regular following the UEFA U21 EURO final defeat of Marco Verratti's Italy. In five seasons with the Azulones, he made 145 competitive appearances, scoring 15 times and providing 18 assists.

Sarabia then caught the eye of Sevilla, who signed him in summer 2016. He enjoyed three excellent seasons in Andalusia, concluding with a 2018/19 campaign in which he scored 12 times and 13 assists - a league-high shared with Lionel Messi - to become one of only nine players in Europe's top five leagues to get into double figures in both categories.

Following 151 competitive games, 42 goals ands 38 assists for Rojiblancos, he will look to continue his ascent after joining Paris Saint-Germain, the club that shares the same initials as him. Technical, quick and with the ability to turn a game, he becomes the seventh Spanish player to wear the rouge-et-bleu shirt and joins compatriot and fellow newboy Ander Herrera in giving the club an even greater Iberian feel ahead of the new season.
