Ousmane Dembélé receives his UNFP Trophy
The Paris Saint-Germain forward, voted Ligue 1 player of the month for January, received his UNFP Trophy ahead of the capital club's 4-1 victory over LOSC Lille on Saturday 1 March at the Parc des Princes on Matchday 24 of Ligue 1.
The French international, who won 39% of the votes cast on TROPHEESUNFP.COM, beat RC Strasbourg Alsace striker Emanuel Emegha (34%) and OGC Nice striker Evann Guessand (27%).
The second Parisian to win the award this season after Bradley Barcola last September, the Rouge et Bleu No10 has now won the award for the second time in his career after March 2016, when he played for Stade Rennais FC.
It is the 50th time that a Paris Saint-Germain player has won the trophy since the award was created at the start of the 2003-2004 season.
The award was duly celebrated by the man from Vernon with a fine team performance, a goal (the 100th of his career for club and country) and an assist against Lille.
