Another win for Portugal over Scotland with Nuno Mendes among the assists

Nuno Mendes’s and João Neves’s Portugal beat Scotland 2-1 at Lisbon’s Estádio da Luz yesterday, on Matchday 2 of the 2024–2025 UEFA Nations League group stage.

Having already notched up one assist when his side met Croatia in their previous game, Nuno Mendes was at it again yesterday, as he provided the final pass for Portugal's second goal against Scotland.

While the Paris left-back played the entirety of the encounter, his club teammate João Neves came on as a substitute.
