Nuno Mendes and Hugo Ekitike among 60 Golden Boy 2022 nominees
The Paris Saint-Germain duo feature in the shortlist for the award for the world's best young player.
The 100-strong list has already been whittled down to 60, and a further 20 will be cut each month until the final list of 20 nominees remains in October. A panel of 40 journalists will elect the winner.
Nuno Mendes, also in the running for the Kopa Trophy, and Hugo Ekitike are still in the hunt for this prestigious individual prize, which has already been won by their teammates Lionel Messi in 2005, Renato Sanches in 2016 and Kylian Mbappé in 2017.
