Neymar Jr and Marquinhos' Brazil through to the quarters!

Marquinhos and Neymar Jr's Brazil have qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup after beating South Korea 4-1.

After finishing the group stage as leaders of Group G, the Seleção made a perfect start to the knockout stages, beating South Korea 4-1 in the Round of 16 of this World Cup.

Our two Parisians Marquinhos and Neymar Jr were indeed starters at kick-off, with the No.10 marking his return to the pitch after his injury against Serbia. The No10 was back on the pitch after his injury against Serbia, and he made no mistake in scoring the second goal from the penalty spot that sent Brazil through to the quarter-finals. He became the third Seleção player to score in three different World Cups, after Pele and Ronaldo!

Notre attaquant a par ailleurs été élu homme du match.

Marqui's team now move on to the quarter-finals, with a mouth-watering match against Croatia, who beat Japan. See you there on Friday 9 December, at 16:00 French time.
