Neymar Jr: 'A game every player wants to play in'

The Paris Saint-Germain forward can't wait to get out onto the pitch to face Real Madrid in Wednesday's UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second leg.

SPIRIT

"I feel 100%. It's taken a bit more time than expected, it's a very tricky injury, but I'm ready 100% physically and mentally to help the team, help my teammates and put in a good performance. It'll be a game in which we'll all have to be ready."

REAL MADRID

"It's a game every player wants to play in. You have to enjoy every minute of these kinds of games. They're minutes that won't be repeated. I'm focussed and I've worked to help the team. I'm happy. I'm going to give everything. We have to be very strong mentally to play a great game. I'm good, I feel good to be able to help Paris Saint-Germain. We're ready. We'll be against a very strong team with players with a lot of quality. We're not going to give in or hide. We're going to give everything to try and win the game."

FAVOURITES

"It's a match between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid. It's always 50-50. There's no favourites, because it's two strong teams. We have an advantage because we won 1-0, but we must think about winning and playing even better than we did in Paris. I'm happy to be playing in front of fans, and I'm sure that my teammates will want to play on Wednesday and go home with a win. The absence of Casemiro? It's still not going to be easy, because Real have a lot of quality players. For me, Casemiro is the best player in his position. But for us, it doesn't change anything: we have to play and win the game anyway, we have to do it in the best possible way."

HIS ASSOCIATION WITH KYLIAN MBAPPÉ & LIONEL MESSI

"I play with the same legs, the same way. But sometimes with quality players, you have to concentrate more. We have to attack and defend together on Wednesday. Playing together can help us win. The final at the Stade de France? We have a great team, a great squad with qualities. The final is in Paris and that's incredible for us. It makes us want to qualify for the final even more, but we have to start by winning on Wednesday. We've been working for it for a long time, and Wednesday is a step towards our objective."
