Nasser Al-Khelaïfi gives the Parisian players a sneak peek of the future PSG Campus

The PSG Campus is located in Poissy, just a few kilometres away from the first team’s current training ground the Camp des Loges and will be the headquarters of the Parisian club's elite players from the start of the 2023-2024 season. They will be joined by the Youth Academy players in January 2024, then subsequently by the club's other sports departments.

The players and staff were able to see the layout of the site, which traces the path from youth to elite level, and look around the professional players' building, designed by internationally renowned architects Wilmotte, as well as the pitches, which are cared for in exactly the same way as the Parc des Princes and on which the players will train from next summer.

Once inside the main building, they got to see for the first time what their future training and living spaces will look like- the ideal environment for improving both team and individual performances. Every aspect of the facility will use the latest technology to maximize training sessions and help recovery.

The players were able to appreciate the sheer quality of this centre, which focuses on performance right down to the smallest details, as the venue for the club's future conquests.

Talking to the players, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Chairman and CEO of Paris Saint-Germain, announced: "Opening the PSG Campus confirms our ambitions for the future of the club. We wanted it to be modern, at the cutting edge of professionalism and focused on performance and excellence. With this new training centre, Paris Saint-Germain is strengthening its position as one of the world's greatest sports clubs for decades to come. From tomorrow, the world's top players will train in the best possible conditions to achieve success over many years."

Marquinhos, captain of Paris Saint-Germain, said to PSG TV: "It's simply amazing. I've been here for ten years. We thought this project was going to take a while, I wasn't sure if I'd still be around to see it. Seeing it almost finished now... it's a real pride to see the club grow and take on such a huge dimension. It shows that the club is heading in the right direction and is like a big family. It gives us confidence to keep giving our best. With a training center like this, we're in the best conditions to work, train, and prepare for the seasons to come."

With this new training centre, Paris Saint-Germain is stepping up the quality of its Youth Academy, already one of the best in the world. By bringing these aspiring footballers closer to the professionals, the club hopes to create an inspiring dynamic. The aim is to make the PSG Campus the nerve centre for training future football champions in the Greater Paris region.

Building a new, ultra-modern training centre to match the club's ambitions is a project that has been driven by the club ever since Paris Saint-Germain was bought by Qatar Sports Investments. Having started in 2016, the building work is due to be competed in 2024. Paris Saint-Germain has invested just under €300M in building the new PSG Campus.
