Moise Kean: 'This win will help us'

Thomas Tuchel, Moise Kean and Sergio Rico looked back on Paris Saint-Germain's victory over Lorient on Wednesday evening on Matchday 15 of Ligue 1 (2-0).

Thomas Tuchel

"Lorient had too many chances in the first half, that's for sure. It was our fault because we lost the ball on three occasions too easily and too early, with technical errors. We lacked precision in those moments. It was tough because they defended very deep, with ten men behind the ball. That's why we said that it was important to counter-press, to win the ball back in their half. We did that but we lacked a bit of precision in the box. We scored with a penalty and the red card ended the match. We were lucky today, the end of this year is a bit tricky."

Moise Kean

"This win will help us to move forward, to give us courage in what we are doing. We are working to the end of the year and on Sunday, we have a very important match against Lille. We will need to be ready to play on Sunday. My goal? Rafinha controlled the ball, my idea was to get in behind the defenders cut back and score. I don't know if you saw the celebration, it wasn't bad (laughs)! It's nice to see another teammate with a colour."

Sergio Rico

"Of course, it was so important for us to get back to winning ways and to wipe the memory of our last match, with the three points. I am very happy with the match this evening. As a goalkeeper, you always want to keep a clean sheet and it's always really emotional. It gives us strength to continue helping the team, which is always the most important thing. Kylian's goal allowed us to get a grip of the game. It's very difficult to play against a team that gets ten men behind the ball. We needed to be patient and wait for that moment to score and hope that it happened."
