Moise Kean: 'I never give up'
The Paris Saint-Germain forward discusses the end of the season and the final encounter of the Ligue 1 campaign at Brest on Sunday, which could see Les Parisiens crowned champions if they succeed and Lille slip up at Angers.
Moise, how is the team preparing for this match at Brest?
"We are preparing well because it's the final game of the season, and we want to pick up a good result and hope to finish top of the league. We will undoubtedly check to see how Lille are getting on at the same time. But first and foremost, we need to play to win this match and get the result that we need."
How is the squad feeling physically before this final match of the season?
"Managing fatigue is a very important factor, and that has been even more important this season. But we are working a lot on our recovery and we have done again in order to be able to give 100% on Sunday at Brest. We have managed to put in lots of great performances this season, and we hope to be able to do so again on Sunday evening."
Do you believe that the title is still on the table on Sunday evening?
"Of course we believe it's still to be played for. I am someone who never gives up, and I know that's the same for my teammates. We are aware of our potential and what we are able to accomplish."
We get the feeling that you quickly felt at ease within this squad...
"All of my teammates helped me to integrate as quickly as possible into the squad. All of that gave me a lot of strength to go on and have a great season. They gave me the strength to push on and to give my all for them and for this shirt. I earned the confidence of the coach very quickly and that allowed me to put in good performances, it's very important for me. I have worked hard to be able to show myself capable of meeting those expectations."
