Mitchel Bakker signs Paris Saint-Germain deal through to 30 June 2023
Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce the arrival of Mitchel Bakker. Following the expiry of his contract with Ajax Amsterdam, the Dutch defender has signed a four-year contract, tying him to the club until 30 June, 2023.
The 19-year-old full-back, who primiarily plays on the left, came through the Ajax youth academy. The Purmerend-born defender played 13 UEFA Youth League games with the Dutch club and is a Netherlands U19 international (5 caps). On 27 November, 2018, he was in the Ajax first-team squad for their 2-0 UEFA Champions League victory at AEK Athens.
