Metehan Guclu signs his first professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the signing of Metehan Guclu's first professional contract. The 19-year-old Franco-Turkish striker has signed a deal until 30 June 2022.

In 2012, Metehan joined the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy from AS Bondy where he started off alongside Kylian Mbappe. The attacker, born in the Parisian suburb of Montfermeil, came through the ranks at the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy, winning a French championship with the U17 team in 2016 and finishing as the team's top scorer with 25 goals in 21 matches.

In 2015-2016 he also played two games in for the PSG U19’s championship-winning campaign. Since the start of this season Metehan has been playing for the Paris Saint-Germain reserve team in the National 2 Division (France’s fourth tier) where he has scored 11 goals in 16 games. The Turkish U19 international trains regularly with the first team and was called up by Thomas Tuchel during the Qatar Tour 2019.

The club wishes Metehan a successful professional career with the Rouge et Bleu.
