Medical update 5 August
The medical update for Wednesday 5 August concerns Marco Verratti, Kylian Mbappé and Layvin Kurzawa.
Marco Verratti was on the receiving end of a heavy blow during training yesterday and suffered significant bruising to his right calf, which has led to some muscular damage that will be monitored by the club over the next 72 hours.
Kylian Mbappé continues his recovery as planned. He is back running without the ball on the pitches of the Ooredoo Centre.
Layvin Kurzawa suffered a muscular injury in his right thigh during the final of the Coupe de la Ligue. He is expected to be back training with the squad in the next two weeks.
