Medical update
The medical update this Monday November 23 concerns Ander Herrera, Marco Verratti, Mauro Icardi, Julian Draxler, Idrissa Gueye, Thilo Kehrer and Juan Bernat.
The following players will have their fitness evaluated after today's training session:
Players unavailable to face Leipzig:
- Mauro Icardi is still working his way back to match fitness and his return to competition will be announced this week.
- Julian Draxler, his injury improving all the time, will progressively get back to full squad training at the end of the week.
- Idrissa Gueye, whose femoral biceps injury is coming along well, will be back in squad training this week.
- Thilo Kehrer is carrying on receiving treatment for his pubalgia and adductors injury.
- Juan Bernat is carrying on his rehab after his knee operation.
