Mbappé receives Trophée UNFP
Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé was named Ligue 1 Player of the Month for August and received his Trophée UNFP shortly before kick-off of Sunday's Week 9 Ligue 1 clash against Lyon at the Parc des Princes.
The France international was chosen in with 49% of the votes from users on tropheesunfp.com, finishing ahead of Lille's Nicolas Pépé (41%) and Dijon's Julio Tavares (10%).
The Rouge et Bleu No.7 received the award for the second time as a Paris Saint-Germain player (after March 2018) and the third time in his career (after April 2017, with Monaco).
