Mbappé: 'Keep on winning'

Crowned world champion in Russia, Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé spoke to PSG TV about victory with Les Bleus and atacking the new season in Rouge et Bleu.

Kylian, you've returned to Paris a world champion!
"It was a really incredible feeling. We did it! But now we're back in Paris with new objectives, even if we always want to win. In Russia it was with the national team, now I'm back with my club side, but we still have to keep on winning."

Was it hard living wth your teammates for two months, cut off from family and friends?
"No, because we all got along very well. And time flew by because we were playing so many matches. As the competition progressed, we couldn't wait to play the next game. Everything went really well. At the start, you just want to enjoy the experience, but the further you go, you start thinking about winning it. It's the World Cup, something unique. You realise pretty quickly that you have to make sacrifices to win something so special. And I have no problem making sacrifices to win."

At what moment did you think 'We can actually win this!'?
"I said during the warm-up matches that I felt we could go all the way. People thought I was a little bit crazy, but I believed from the start. When you start a competition like that, with so many players, so many teams that want to win it... You have to want to win it more than they do. You have to believe in yourselves, right from the start and not wait until you're qualified for the semi-final to think, Hey, I think we can do it!"
