Matchday in Singapore

Paris Saint-Germain play their second International Champions Cup 2018 contest against Arsenal at Singapore's National Stadium on Saturday.

International Champions Cup, episode 2! After facing Bayern Munich in Klagenfurt, Singapore now provides the stage for Thomas Tuchel's men. Three days after their arrival, the squad takes on Arsenal. It will be a special game for former Arsenal man Lassana Diarra, who has been getting to know his new coach. "He's a coach who is close to his players, who communicates a lot," the midfielder said. "We're learning about him, and vice versa. He talks a lot to us and passes on his philosophy. Personally, I'm a Paris Saint-Germain player, so I'm available for the coach when he needs me. I'll give my all."

It will also be a special day for Arsenal boss Unai Emery, coming up against the side he coached over the last two seasons: "I'm very grateful to Paris Saint-Germain for giving me the opportunity to coach them over two years. It was a great period of my career. Paris is a big club with lots of great players in its ranks, even if some of them will be missing against us. But more than the match, I'll be happy to see friends again. We're continuing our pre-season. Our aim is to get all the players back into shape and also take them through the tactical work that we want to do to be able to start the season well."

Thomas Tuchel also gave the media his thoughts on the game. "It's a pre-season game. We've had some good training sessions, so I'm confident," said Tuchel before he and his players stepped out into the Singapore National Stadium for their pre-match session. "I have had a very good impression of here. The facilities are very good, people do a very good job and make our life easier. Our training pitch is excellent. The temperature is high, but this evening it's very good for training."

You can follow the game from 13:35CEST (11:35GMT) on Saturday!
