Marquinhos's and Beraldo's Brazil beat Paraguay

Marquinhos’s and Lucas Beraldo's Brazil earned a 1-0 win over Paraguay on Matchday 16 of CONMEBOL qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup last night.

The captain of both Paris Saint-Germain and the Seleção featured for the entirety of his side's win, which leaves them third in the standings with 25 points and thereby confirms their place at next summer's World Cup, while Beraldo come off the bench to take part in the final quarter of an hour.
