Marquinhos: 'The players are all committed'
Paris Saint-Germain Marquinhos spoke to the media ahead of Saturday's Ligue 1 match away to Guingamp.
HIS PROGRESSION
In the last five years, a lot has happened to me, both on and off the pitch. THe club has continued to change and is more and more ambitious. Some players have left, others have arrived... I am very happy to see what the club has become and to be a part of this project.
THE NEW SEASON
We are all smiles. That's normal after the holidays... and we won the Trophée des Champions, and we played well in our first league match. We know that there will be tough times to come during the season, but we have to keep on smiling. We are well looked after here in Paris. The coaches work very hard, the players are committed and we have very talented players. Everything is here to have a big season.
THREE-MAN DEFENCE
The coach likes to play with three at the back. We haven't spoken about it yet with him, but we will work hard to make it work if that's what the coach wants. I am familiar with the formation because I played with three at the back in Brazil and at Roma. I am comfortable playing like that.
