Marquinhos makes 435th appearance for Paris to equal Jean-Marc Pilorget

Marquinhos, who came on as a substitute in the match against Clermont on Saturday 6 April at the Parc des Princes on Matchday 28 of Ligue 1, has reached a new milestone in the history of his more than 10 years with the capital club.

Against Les Clermontois, the Paris Saint-Germain centre-back played his 435th official match for the club. His total now equals that of Jean-Marc Pilorget, who was previously the all-time record holder in a Paris Saint-Germain shirt, also with 435 appearances. Having arrived in Paris in July 2013, the Brazilian international has played 287 Ligue 1 matches, 34 Coupe de France, 20 Coupe de la Ligue, 7 Trophées des Champions and 87 UEFA Champions League matches for the Red and Blue, scoring a total of 38 goals in the process.

Marquinhos is one of the most successful Parisian players in the club's history, with 28 trophies to his name: eight French league titles (2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023), six Coupe de France titles (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021), six Coupe de la Ligue titles (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020) and eight Trophées des Champions (2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023).

435 appearances to date, since making his debut in the UEFA Champions League win over Olympiakos (1-4, 17/09/2013), just a few days before making his Ligue 1 debut against AS Monaco at the Parc des Princes (1-1, 22/09/2013).
