Marquinhos: 'Get back to winning ways'
With Bordeaux the visitors to the Parc des Princes on Sunday, the Brazil international is setting a target of claiming all three points.
TEAM SPIRIT
"It was a difficult week, but we have to sort things out internally. It's a period to keep calm, keep working and think about what is most important: that's what happens on the pitch. Working to improve what can be improved, in matches and in training. We have to stay calm and just think about football."
BORDEAUX
"It's a good thing to be able to play again quickly after a defeat. We're back at the Parc tomorrow evening, and we want to play well in front of our fans and get back to winning ways, against a good Bordeaux team."
RELAXING
"The birthday party for the three players had been planned for a long time. We never wanted to disrespect the fans, and we also need to de-stress, to get together and not think about results or tactics. We're under pressure, watched all the time, and it's important for us to get together and think about other things. After the Dortmund game we were all very sad and disappointed. We wanted to just spend some time together."
BOUNCING BACK
"You mustn't throw everything up in the air when you lose a game. You have to work together and respond on the pitch. I'm certain we'll have a great second leg. We know how strong we are at home in front of our fans. I don't know if Dortmund will be able to produce the same performance as they did at home. We'll stand up and be counted."
THIAGO SILVA
"Thiago shows on the pitch that he's still at the top. In spite of his age, his 35 years, he's still at a very high level. He's a friend, he helps me and he constantly drives me to produce my best; Me, and all the other players in the squad."
