Marquinhos' Brazil through to the Round of 16!
Marquinhos and his Brazilian teammates came out on top against a solid Switzerland side on Matchday 2 of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 group stage (1-0).
Four days after the win in their World Cup opener against Serbia (2-0), Tite's Brazil side were back in action on Monday 28 November, this time taking on Switzerland in the second group match of Group G. Mission accomplished for the Seleรงรฃo who eventually managed to find a way past the Swiss in what was a tight encounter (1-0).
With the three points in the bag, Brazil have secured their qualification for the knockout stages of the World Cup!

Paris Saint-Germain's Marquinhos played the entire match and ensured his side kept a clean sheet.ย
As a reminder,ย Neymar Jr was forced off with an ankle injury ten minutes before the end of normal time in the first match, but the Brazilian staff remain positive about his continued involvement in the competition.ย
