Madrid, Brugge and Galatasaray in numbers
We analyse Paris' UEFA Champions League group stage opponents.
Real Madrid are the side Paris have met most in European competition: four times in the Champions League, and twice each in the Cup Winners' Cup and the UEFA Cup.
Paris Saint-Germain have never faced Club Brugge in an official game, so there is a first to come. They did play twice in friendlies: the first on 27 July 1996 saw Leonardo make his Paris debut, while the meeting on 22 July 2006 was part of the deal that brought David Rozehnal to the French capital.
The meetings with Galatasaray will be the fifth and sixth between the clubs after two encounters in the Champions League and UEFA Cup.
