Luis Enrique: "Win this Coupe de France"

The Paris Saint-Germain coach answered questions from PSG TV and the media ahead of the Coupe de France final against Olympique Lyonnais at the Stade Pierre Mauroy in Villeneuve-d'Ascq on Saturday 25 May (21:00). Excerpts.

"It's going to be an important match because it's a final. The Coupe de France is an important competition with an historic dimension. It's different from the league because there are more surprises that can happen. But the important thing for us is to win this competition."

"The commitment of the players was perfect, the credit doesn't go to me, things come down to detail and I'm delighted with the commitment of my players in training."

"I think everything has changed since Pierre Sage arrived. His statistics are incredible and he has turned around a difficult situation. He has an incredible squad. I think this team can compete with us for the title next year and we have to be wary of them on Saturday. They're a team with a completely different dynamic. During a match, tactics can be different in the first and second halves. But a final is different. We should see something different. This is a team with defensive and attacking qualities."

"I can really speak to that from personal experience, it's hard to play against your home-town club. Bradley gort the job done against Lyon and has brought us good things since his arrival. He's lived up to the club's expectations; he's already contributing today and he'll be contributing again on Saturday."
