Luis Enrique: 'We showed character'

Luis Enrique and Bradley Barcola stopped to speak to PSG TV after Paris Saint-Germain's draw with Le Havre (3-3), on Matchday 31 of Ligue 1.

LUIS ENRIQUE

"It's difficult. Of course, it's difficult. It was a match like the one against Clermont. It's a match where the opponent stays compact. They don't leave any space. They defend well. A well-drilled team with incredible success. The three times they went forward, they scored three goals, incredible. But I must say that the team always fought against adversity, against the goals, against the situations... Negative situations that occurred during the match. Our supporters were incredible. Whether it was 1-0, 1-1, 1-3... They applauded and sang until the last second. It's a shame we didn't score the fourth goal, as it would have been a spectacular celebration for them.

It's impossible to give up if the supporters keep singing and encouraging. I think the team continues to show character and a willingness to fight. And the just reward was Gonçalo's goal. A beautiful goal. And now, the best is yet to come. We are looking forward to preparing and playing the double header and we can't wait to make our supporters happy."

BRADLey Barcola

"We're happy to have come back to level the score. We knew it would be tough at half-time, but we didn't let our heads drop, we quickly got back into the game, and that's why we managed to equalise. The league? Yes, it's difficult; especially when you play against such deep defensive blocks, with everyone really staying back. It's complicated but in the end, with our mental strength, we always manage to secure victories or draws, so we're happy. Our mental strength? It's true that there's never any doubt, even when we're behind. It's really this mental strength that allows us to win matches and get back into games like this, so it's very, very good for us."
