Luis Enrique : 'We had opportunities to win the game'

Warren Zaïre-Emery and Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique spoke to PSG TV about the Rouge et Bleu's third pre-season friendly against Cerezo Osaka this Friday (2-3).

Luis Enrique

"We knew there would be an obvious difference in fitness between the two teams. It's a shame because we had opportunities to win the game. But we're responsible for the 5 goals in tonight's game. I'm fully convinced that to play good football, we need a style of play that gives us as many opportunities as possible to keep possession of the ball. But we also need the players to make decisions. I liked the mobility of our team, the changes of position, the rhythm of the game. I liked the way the team played, but not the result or the defensive errors, obviously. But tonight there are more positives than negatives."

WARREN ZAÏRE-EMERY

"We're here to get to know each other and do things together. We need to become a group as quickly as possible so that we're ready for the first Ligue 1 match. The coach is very committed, he has a very attacking style of play and he gives us advice every day on how to succeed. We're trying to apply his advice and his instructions as quickly as we can."
