Luis Enrique: 'We didn't take our chances'

Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique and goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma spoke to PSG TV shortly after the 1-1 draw away to OGC Nice, on Matchday 7 of the Ligue 1 season, on Sunday.

LUIS ENRIQUE

“The truth is, we could have won this match on the back of a very good second half, but unfortunately we didn’t take the chances we created after the interval. In the first half we also had some good chances, but we weren’t clinical enough and that made the match difficult for us. The second half was a very different scenario, and we could have won – no doubt.”

GIANLUIGI DONNARUMMA

“I think it was the first half that let us down tonight. The second half was different and we played very well. The first half was disappointing. But the important thing is that the team reacted well and produced a very good second half. Like I said, it’s a shame about the first half. We came here tonight looking for the victory, to win, and we are frustrated by our first half performance. We will work on that, we will improve how we start games… but it’s a shame.”
