Luis Enrique: 'We always have the will to fight'

On the eve of his side's UEFA Champions League Matchday 4 clash with AC Milan at the Stadio San Siro - at 21:00 on Tuesday 7 November - Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique answered questions from the media. Excerpts.

THE MATCH AGAINST MILAN

"I want to be optimistic, as I am before every game. We're going to face a tough opponent in an historic stadium. I can see that the players are really looking forward to this game. We know what we want to do, even if it will be difficult against such tough opponents, who need points in this group, just like every other team."

GAME PLAN

"Before any match, we always study how our opponents play. We have a very clear objective, and we want them to adapt to our game and not the other way round. When we don't have the ball, we want to get it back as quickly as possible. We want to play the same way we have so far."

THE PARISIAN DYNAMIC

"I'm always happy with my team's attitude. Of course there are things to improve, but from day one I've always seen a team with a good attitude. We've improved since then. We always have the will to fight and that's a characteristic of this group. We'll have to wait until the end of the season to really assess our progress. As a coach, I'm very pleased with what I see. Both in terms of attitude and performance. We want to control the game as much as possible. I'm very satisfied, but I'm always looking for the team to improve."

Warren Zaïre-EMERY

"Warren is a diamond for us. He's very young, so he still needs to improve. As well as his physical and technical qualities, he has the ability to know where to be on the pitch, where to move and where the others are. So it's easy for a coach to train a player like him. But above all, I think one of his best qualities is humility. I think that comes from his upbringing, and I also think that it's the best legacy that parents can pass on to their children."
