Luis Enrique: 'The team was committed and reliable'

The Paris Saint-Germain coach and his goalkeeper spoke to PSGTV after Les Rouge et Bleus' 2-0 win at the Beaujoire in Ligue 1 Round 22 action.

LUIS ENRIQUE

"It's always very difficult. When a team reduces space and is physically fresh and motivated, it's very difficult to find space. In the first half, we weren't very fresh or very fluid. It cost us a bit. But I think we wore our opponents down after that and with a bit of luck we were able to score in the second half. But football is also about tipping the balance in our favour. The atmosphere was spectacular, and for us it was very important to make it three wins out of three and stay top of the table."

"When it comes down to it, what we're looking for is to improve the fluidity of our attacking play. I think we were very good at pressing when we lost the ball. At the end of the day, the truth is that you always wonder how you're going to react after such an important match in the Champions League, and how much energy it takes out of you. But the team was committed and reliable."

GIGIO DONNARUMMA

"It was a very important objective. When you return to Ligue 1 after the Champions League, it's very important to win, and we played a good match. A very good match. It was difficult because against Nantes, you play at the back and they defend really tightly. It's difficult to create important chances. But in the second half, we played a very good game."

"My 100th match for PSG? I'm very happy to be pulling on this shirt and playing for this club. It's incredible. I'm very happy here and we're going to carry on like this. I hope to play many more matches."
