Luis Enrique: "The second half was sensational"

Luis Enrique, Ibrahim Mbaye and Désiré Doué reacted to Paris Saint-Germain's 6-1 win at Saint-Étienne on Saturday 29 March on Matchday 27 of Ligue 1.

LUIS ENRIQUE

"I'm very satisfied, but I'm not happy with the start of the game, because Saint-Étienne played much better than us with a lot of intensity. I think at the end of the first half we were playing at our level and the second half was sensational, with lots of situations and goal-scoring opportunities. I'm pleased with our defensive mentality, which was very interesting. We have to take advantage of these details against Dunkerque on Tuesday and against Aston Villa in the Champions League."

Ibrahim Mbaye

"I'm really pleased with the win, it was a bit tricky at the start but we relaxed in the second half. I'm very happy to have scored that first goal, and I hope it continues for a long time and that I score more in other matches. It's a reward for all the hard work I've put in so far, and I'm going to keep on working and hope to score even more goals. Bradley laid it off to me and all I had to do was push it home. He let me score my first goal, which shows the cohesion between the players."

Désiré Doué

"We managed to get back into it in the second half and get the 3 points today, we've got a big lead and that's great. It's good to be back with the team and my team-mates and to be able to perform with them. Today I scored, I could also have assisted, but even if I don't score the most important thing is to perform as part of the team. The attitude is superb. Every time we score, we want to score more, and we need to keep going like this."
