Luis Enrique: 'The important thing is to make progress'

The Paris Saint-Germain coach and two of his players spoke to PSGTV after Les Rouge et Bleu drew 0-0 with AS Monaco at the Stade Louis II in Ligue 1 Round 24.

LUIS ENRIQUE

"It was difficult, a very difficult match. We already knew that it would be against Monaco. I think they're an ideal opponent to prepare for the Champions League match in San Sebastian, because they have individual and collective quality. They put us to the test in both defence and attack. We had to be very solid, especially in defence. That cost us more in the first half, but in the second half I think we were better and the result was fair."

"We could have won. We could have lost. We drew. The important thing is to move forward and win this championship. Of course, that's what we're doing. And now come competitions like the Champions League and the Coupe, which are very attractive competitions - but also difficult to navigate. And now our aim is to go to San Sebastian, in Spain, my home country, to try and come back with a smile on our faces."

LUCAS BERALDO

"I think it was a difficult game, but I still think we could have come out on top. And it's always difficult to play in Monaco. In the end, it's a point won for us tonight. Of course, Champions League matches are always complicated, but we're ready. The coach is making us work very hard. So I think we'll be ready and we're looking forward to Tuesday."

CARLOS SOLER

"It was a draw, but I think the team played well. We played the ball out of defence well. And it's true that they also had a lot of chances, but we got a draw. We're getting ready for our next match, against Real Sociedad, which will be a very complicated game, with their supporters and a team that plays very well in San Sebastian. So we need to have a good game there."
