Luis Enrique: "It's very frustrating to be in this situation’"

The Paris Saint-Germain coach and João Neves spoke to PSG TV after their narrow 1-0 defeat by Bayern Munich on Matchday 5 of the UEFA Champions League in Germany on Tuesday 26 November.

Luis Enrique

"We gave a bad impression, a bad impression from the first minute. Bayern Munich were superior to us in the first half. We couldn't get the ball back, they were pressing us and getting it back all the time. The start of the second half was a little more encouraging. We thought we had chances and I think the start of the second half was better. But after Ousmane was sent off, we suffered. We were lucky to be in the game until the end, but they deserved to win.

It's a real pleasure to hear our supporters cheering us on throughout the game, but it's very frustrating for us to be in this situation. We lost a Champions League game at home and it will be difficult to get those points back, but there are still three games left and we have to hope to qualify."

João Neves

"I think it was a tough game, we tried our best like in all the games. Unfortunately we didn't score, but we had opportunities to. With one player less it's more difficult, but I think the team stayed together until the end and that's the positive thing."
