Luis Enrique: "It was very difficult"

The Paris Saint-Germain coach and Warren Zaïre-Emery, who made his 100th appearance for the club, spoke about Paris Saint-Germain's 1-2 win over RC Lens on Saturday 18 January at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Matchday 18 of Ligue 1.

LUIS ENRIQUE :

"I think it was a very, very difficult game to control. Away from home it's always difficult, but I think they defended very well. They have personality, an aggressive character and they do it very well. It was very difficult.

Of course, we're on a good run and now we need to recover and prepare for the Champions League match. Everyone's talking about that game, but we need to stay ready and rest."

Warren Zaïre-Emery

"Before coming here, we knew it was going to be a tough game. We prepared well and gave it everything we had. Even if we conceded the first goal, it shows the strength of character that this team has. By putting two past them and getting the three points, we keep up our rhythm and prepare as well as we can for the games ahead. It definitely puts us in a good place to then have three days to prepare for Manchester City. It's a big game, one of the most important of the season, so we're going to do everything we can to win it.

I'm proud to be playing my 100th match. I've been at the club for ten years, two and a half with the pros, and it's always a pleasure to wear this shirt and give my all every day, off and on the pitch."
