Luis Enrique: "I’m very happy with what I saw"
The Paris Saint-Germain coach as well as Carlos Soler spoke to PSG TV following Les Parisiens' 2-0 win over FC Metz at the Stade Saint-Symphorien on Matchday 34 of Ligue 1 tonight.
LUIS ENRIQUE
“This kind of game is generally tough, but I think that the team played to a very high standard tonight. We were professional and had the right mindset to compete, and I’m very happy with what I saw and with the team’s performance. When you play for a club as big as Paris Saint-Germain, you need to be at 100% in every game. I think that tonight, we deserved to win again, and we’re happy.
"Now, we want to end the season in the best way possible. We know that [the Coupe de France final] is a big game in France and a very important trophy, and we’re hoping to make our fans happy once again and to celebrate a third title this season. That would be wonderful and the best way to end the season.”
Carlos Soler
"We had a good first half, played really well and created a lot of chances. We finished the season with a win, which was important for us. I scored early in the game, which I’m happy about."
