Luis Enrique: "For us, football is a spectacle"
The Paris Saint-Germain coach and his two-goal marksman spoke to PSG TV after Les Rouge et Bleu's emphatic 6-0 win over Montpellier at the Parc des Princes on Friday 23 August.
LUIS ENRIQUE
"There's no doubt about it, I'm very, very, very, very, very happy with the way the team connected out on the pitch tonight, in attack and defence, as well as the connection with our fans, who were singing and enjoying themselves. For us, football is a spectacle, a show. With this profile of players, we're trying to show our fans that we're hungry and that we want them to enjoy themselves. Especially when you're lucky enough to coach these players. If I had other players, we wouldn't be able to play like this. But when there are so many versatile players, so many players who can play in different positions, who change positions, who keep the same structure... Then we are very lucky and very effective in attack, because we give the impression that the game is easy when it wasn't, because the opponent defended very well."
BRADLEY BARCOLA
"We couldn't wait to get back to our stadium. And frankly, we played well together, we played as a team both offensively and defensively. We put in a great performance together and we're very happy. We really enjoyed ourselves together. You can see that we were really working as a team and that's why we're having big games like this. It was my first double and I was feeling good. So I did this one-two with Joao, and after that, it ended well. I'm very satisfied. Frankly, I'm happy with what I'm doing at the moment, so we're going to keep going like this!"
