Luis Enrique: 'Can't wait to play them again in Paris'

Luis Enrique and Warren Zaïre-Emery gave us their thoughts on Paris Saint-Germain's defeat away to Newcastle.

Luis Enrique

"It wasn't the match we wanted to play, obviously. I saw a good team, especially at the start when we created chances in the opposition's box. We weren't sharp enough and we paid for our mistakes, the errors we made when we had the ball. I'm not going to say it was unfair, because Newcastle are a great team who played very well and deserved to win - but not to score four goals. We're going to use this game to reassess, and we'll see how we approach the games we have ahead of us. And I can't wait to play them again in Paris.
We always analyse a match once it's over. I'm sad for the fans, and for the 2,000 supporters who came to support us. This is the Champions League; when you make a mistake, you pay for it. We're second in the group and there are still a lot of games to play. Obviously, it's still difficult."

Warren Zaïre-Emery

"It's true that they shut us down, there was a lot of noise. But I don't think that should destabilise us or even put extra pressure on us. We're going to look at what we did wrong, on video, and we're going to improve things, to become the best team we can be. I think we need to do things better. We knew what we were up against: their very high and intense pressing. We needed to do better to get out from under them and find the space we needed."
