Luis Enrique : 'A lot of positives'

Lucas Hernandez and Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique spoke to PSG TV about the Rouge et Bleu's fourth pre-season friendly against Inter Milan this Tuesday (1-2).

Luis Enrique

"It was a very good match. It's incredible to lead 1-0 up to the 80th-minute only to lose, but I saw a lot of positives. I'm very happy and I see the team improving day on day. Pre-season is the best time to improve, to get to know each other as a team, to welcome the new players and test some in several positions. It's also the time when you prepare physically. Inter Milan were Champions League runners-up, they're a very very good team with players who've been together for a number of years. We've been training for three weeks. There's a lot still to do, but I'm happy."

LUCAS HERNANDEZ

"We're trying to prepare as well as we can to be ready for the first league game of the season. These matches allow us to get to know each other better, that's the case for me, for example, as I've just arrived here. We have learned and put a lot of things in place here in Japan, as the coach wanted. It's true results haven't gone our way, but that helps us learn. We're going to continue working together to try and be ready for the first game against Lorient and win it. We've had a great stay here with our Japanese fans, it's been fantastic. We have also had the time to see Tokyo and Osaka, we have had some good times. But we have also worked very hard. The weather has not been easy, there's a lot of heat and humidity, but that means we have been able to prepare as well as we could. We still have a game to go in Korea before returning to Paris to prepare well for the first match."
