Les Rouge et Bleu honoured at the Trophées UNFP 2023

The 31st edition of the Trophées UNFP, which took place on Sunday evening, saw several members of the Paris Saint-Germain first team recognised. Kylian Mbappé was notably voted Player of the Year for 2022-2023.

KYLIAN MBAPPÉ – PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Kylian Mbappé takes home the trophy for Ligue 1 Player of the Year for the fourth consecutive year, a record in the history of the Trophées UNFP. After another exceptional season, the Paris Saint-Germain forward boasts 28 goals and 5 assists in the league. Already voted Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year on three occasions (2016-2017, 2017-2018 and 2018-2019), the forward continues to develop his personal collection.

The Paris Saint-Germain number 7 beat Seko Fofana (RC Lens), Loïs Openda (RC Lens), Jonathan David (Lille OSC) and his teammate Léo Messi to the award.

NUNO MENDES - YOUNG PLAYER OF THE SEASOn

Crowned French Champions with Paris on Saturday evening, Nuno Mendes was voted Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year on Sunday. At 20 years old, it's the second time that he has been shortlisted in this category since joining the club from the capital. Last year, the Portugal international didn't manage to take home the trophy, but now it's job done.

The young defender beat Elye Wahi (Montpellier HSC), Eliesse Ben Seghir (AS Monaco), Bradley Barcola (Olympique Lyonnais) and Rayan Cherki (Olympique Lyonnais) to the award.

FOUR PLAYERS IN THE TEAM OF THE YEAR

Alongside Kylian Mbappé and Nuno Mendes, two other Paris Saint-Germain players feature in the Ligue 1 Team of the Year. With 16 goals and 16 assists to his name this season, Leo Messi joins Mbappé in the team's front line. Achraf Hakimi is voted best right-back of the year, in his second season in Paris colours.
