Les Parisiens return to training

With today marking Les Rouge et Bleu’s return to PSG Campus, the second half of the 2023–2024 season can now get underway!

Welcome BACK

Les Parisiens returned to PSG Campus today for their first training session back following a well-deserved winter break. Currently leading the way in Ligue 1 with 40 points from 17 games as well as having reached the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League, Les Rouge et Bleu will be able to draw upon the determination of their manager, Luis Enrique, and that of his coaching staff as they look to keep moving onwards and upwards.

The Paris boss gave PSG TV his thoughts at the end of his first six months in the French capital: "For us, it's not just about wanting to win; it's about winning with an identity. It's about winning whilst growing as a football team so that everyone in France and abroad knows that this is how Paris Saint-Germain play."

THE trophée des champions ON THE HORIZON

The Paris players now have a little less than a week to prepare for their next fixture, which is none other than the Trophée des Champions against Toulouse FC on Wednesday 3rd January at the Parc des Princes. As a reminder, this game pits the previous season's Ligue 1 champions against the reigning Coupe de France winners, and as the trophy's current holders thanks to their 4-0 win over FC Nantes in last year's edition, the capital club will be attempting to claim the title for the 12th time in their history.

Next, Les Parisiens will enter the Coupe de France at the last-64 stage with a trip down south to face sixth-tier outfit US Revel on Sunday 7th January, before returning to league action a week later with what promises to be a hard-fought battle away to RC Lens on Sunday 14th January. For Luis Enrique's men, then, the first fortnight of January is set to be an action-packed one.
