Les Bleus in festive mode

Led by the irrepressible Kylian Mbappé, France defeated the Netherlands 2-1 on Matchday 2 of the Nations League in front of an effervescent Stade de France in party mood to celebrate their World Cup winners!

Paris forward Mbappé opened the scoring on the half-hour from a Blaise Matuidi cross. It was his ninth goal with Les Bleus. Babel equalised for the Netherlands midway through the second-half (67') before Olivier Giroud netted the winner in the 74th minute from a Benjamin Mendy cross. 

At the end of the match, the World Cup winners were called up one by one and presented to the sell-out crowd before celebrating with the fans. It was the opportunity for the capital's football fanatics to congratulate their Paris stars Presnel Kimpembe, Alphonse Areola and Kylian Mbappé!
