Le Classique broadcast in Ultra HD for international rights holders

For the first time in Ligue 1 history, Sunday's Week 11 encounter between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille at the Stade Orange Vélodrome (kick-off 21:00CET) will be produced and broadcast in Ultra HD (4K) for international rights holders.

This initiative, taken by the LFP and beIN MEDIA GROUP, is aimed at improving the quality and attractiveness of the league abroad, notably thanks to enhanced production values. Ultra HD offers viewers an exceptional picture and improves the game experience on TV. This match is the first of ten selected for the 2018/19 season.

Le Classique will be broadcast by 46 channels in 176 countries and 39 languages. In Europe, the game will be broadcast notably by BT Sport in the UK, DAZN in Italy and Germany, Match TV in Russia, Digiturk in Turkey and Eleven Sports in Portugal. beIN SPORTS will show the game in the Middle East and in North Africa as well as Canal+ Afrique and StarTimes in sub-Saharan Africa. In Asie, the match will be shown in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, the Philippines and Hong Kong by beIN SPORTS, by PPTV and CCTV 5 in China, and SCTV in Vietnam. On the American continent, beIN SPORTS will show the game in the USA and Canada, and ESPN will broadcast in South and Central America, and the Caribbean.
